Jazz Funeral - Millburn, New Jersey - AMG
In addition to having some sort of discernible musical talent, Paul Adler is a known problem drinker and self-proclaimed pseudo-philosopher. A product of too many English classes and long nights, the twenty-two-year old New Jersey native can usually be found, brooding with a glass of whiskey in one hand and his Fender telecaster in the other. Paul finished recording his debut full-length, self-titled Jazz Funeral in March 2011. The album was produced by Sean Killary and Nick Greico in Boston, Massachusetts. The album is available on the Jazz Funeral Facebook page, and will be released this Fall. Head over to the Jazz Funeral blog to see what Paul has been up to!

Avenida - Livingston, New Jersey - DKR
In an industry full of gimmicks and manufactured bands, Avenida provide a sense of validity, and true genuine musicianship where it is desperately needed. You will never hear an electro dance beat, brutally auto-tuned vocals, or techno-breakdowns in an Avenida song, and that is certainly a breath of fresh air. Over the past 6 months Avenida have been revamping themselves in a big way, expect to hear big things from these guys later this year, including a new album due out before the end of the year.
